Sometimes email queues get cluttered and build up over time. SPAM attacks can also create hundreds, sometimes thousands of messages making it a nightmare to clean out your exchange message queue. Here is a little tip that will allow you to delete all messages and queues using a couple short commands.

1.

Download the Aqadmcli.exe tool

You can download it here:
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/pss/Tools/Exchange%20Support%20Tools/Aqadmcli/aqadmcli.exe

2.

Run the Aqadmcli.exe tool

Execute the Aqadmcli.exe program. This will bring up the command line interface.

3.

Set the server name

Type in: setserver <mailservername>
Hit Enter
You will get a confirmation stating "setserver succeeded"

4.

Delete the queues

To delete all the messages-
Type in: delmsg flags=all
Hit Enter

To delete messages from a specific domain-
Type in: delmsg flags=sender,sender=sender@domain_name.com
Hit Enter
