IT Desktop Support SpecialistAscend Co., Ltd has an immediate opportunity for a Desktop Support Specialist to work in our Bangkok office. The ideal candidate is a very strong Desktop troubleshooting expert who can quickly resolve Desktop issues in very diverse environments with minimum supervision. The candidate will be joining a rapidly growing IT Outsourcing Service Provider and must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with little direction Required Skills:- Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years strong, hands-on experience with all Windows Desktop platforms. Candidates must have a good understanding of break fix on software and hardware in multiple environments. | Prior experience troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving problems for users remotely in a Service Desk environment. | Candidates must have the ability to work closely with the Service Desks Server Support team. | Experience working with Dell, HP and IBM hardware is required. | Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with technical and non-technical users is required. IT Professionals The ideal candidate would have strong experience in IT support and would be very comfortable resolving IT problems in Microsoft Windows and Unix platforms including Windows XP and 2003 server. College degree holders would be preferred. Experience with remote access to computers (software applications such as Remedy) would be a plus. |
